The Sarasota Millionaires are an Adult Professional Minor League Football Team in the Sarasota County area. We are set to begin our fourth year this upcoming 2009/2010 season in The Florida Football Alliance. We look forward to continuing  to share our passion for this game we call "FOOTBALL".

A little history about The Millionaires....

The Millionaires became the 2007 Southern States Football League AFC West Divisional Champions their first year in the league,  The 2008 Southern States Football League  Championship "Rice Bowl" runner ups as well as awarded The Southern States Football League Commissioners Cup for administrative excellence  there second year in the league. Our third year we were invited to play in the National Bowl Weekend in Deland, Fla. against the twice undefeated champions the Northwest Giants of Philly. We won that game 20-0 to win the 2009 Orange Blossom Bowl.  We were again blessed to have made it all the way back to the 2009 Southern States Football League "Rice Bowl" but came up short of a win. We are still very grateful to have come so far and accomplishing so much in this short period of time.  The Millionaires organization will continue to put in the hard work and dedication to make this football program reach a higher level each year.

The Millionaires not only offer their players another chance at playing top quality football, But also opportunities of moving on to play in college as well as the NFL, CFL, Arena II, and NCAA.  With continued focus and dedication, "The Sky is the Limit".

The Sarasota Millionaires are a non-profit organization that will instill the values of sportsmanship and teamwork into each player. We will expect nothing less then hard work, respect, and discipline as it will help all that are involved achieve a higher standard in life.

The Sarasota Millionaires ARE dedicated to providing pride and growth in our community.  Its not just about football for us. We are committed to providing success to our players both on and off the field. The Millionaires participate in weekly activities called "Players Night Out". Every week we take a night off from practice to go bowling, out for dinner, the movies, etc. together as a family. We feel it is very important to get to know one another a lot better off the field, and in a different atmosphere. It has been proven that participating in these weekly activities, has helped in communicating and playing football with each other a whole lot better. (we believe there is always room for improvement) To name a few of the other things The Millionaires have participated in and continue to be a part of have been, attending "Family & Friends Day" at various church's, The Martin Luther King Jr Freedom March, reading to elementary students at Emma E. Booker, Little Sproutz Pre School, Helen Payne Day Nursery and Children First, helping those less fortunate at Thanksgiving with food basket give-a-ways complete with turkey/ham and all the trimmings, mentoring at risk youth in the community, and more.  We also have some of our players coach Pop Warner Football, Ringling Redskins Football, as well as referee  the games. The Millionaires will continue to be a positive and active part in the community all year round.

As we begin our forth year in the FFA and in our community, The Sarasota Millionaires Organization look forward in sharing another great season with you and your family every Saturday night.  We thank you for your continued support!

SSFL Record Holder # 1 Brandon Johnson

Brandon Johnson was a great pick up for the Millionaires this past 2009 season. Overall he had 17 interceptions, two returned for touchdowns, two blocked field goals, one blocked punt, and one fumble return for a game winning touchdown. Johnson was also pretty affective on the offensive side of the ball as well. With four receiving touchdowns, and one key catch to beat the St Pete Sharks in a close game late in the fourth quarter. Brandon Johnson is a 20yr old native of Sarasota who has played football for Sarasota High School before playing with the Millionaires. He is looking forward to moving on to play college ball while using the Millionaires as a stepping stone to get there.  "We will do everything in our power to help Brandon get to the next level. He is a very talented young man with great character who has all the potential of making it to the next level" said Owner Calvin Williams.
