The Sarasota Millionaires Is A 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization

The Sarasota Millionaires ARE dedicated to providing pride and growth in our community. It is not just about football for the Sarasota Millionaires. We are committed to providing success to our players both on and off the field. Sarasota Millionaires provide positive mentorship and planned activities for the youths in the City of Sarasota and Sarasota County. Though the team's season runs from September  April our programs continue throughout the year. Our community is FIRST and football is second.

MISSION - The mission of the Sarasota Millionaires Community Service Programs is to make a positive and measurable impact on the youth development in Sarasota County in the areas of education, community outreach, and health and wellness. We demonstrate to the community that the Sarasota Millionaires is a positive and successful organization with people that care and understand the needs of the children and our communities.

VISION - Many of the problems surrounding at-risk youth can be traced to a world view that leads them to a path of misdirection and disunity. They have not been educated on how the system works, and they turn to a self-defeating thug mentality. Yet, these youth, both boys and girls, look up to athletes and seek to emulate them. The vision of the Millionaires is to provide positive athlete role models, and through them, to offer programs for outreach, education and training that leads to better life choices. The thug mentality must be beaten.

Our programs have flourished over the years becoming a multifaceted service organization. Our mission encompasses rendering assistance to individuals, families, the elderly and especially at-risk youth. Our Community Service Programs include:

ENRICHING SOULS - This community service program is designed to visit the Senior Centers in the Sarasota area and visit with the Elderly. Not only do they appreciate our company but they are a wealth of knowledge from their years of experience.

PROJECT REACHOUT - This community reachout  program provides a variety of services designed to address identified unmet needs of the residents of low economic communities and ultimately society as a whole. This programs provide a Thanksgiving Dinner Package and/or Thanksgiving Banquet, a Christmas Dinner Package and toys, and a helping hand to residents in need.

YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP - This series uses sports and the emulation of professional athletes as a vehicle to reach at-risk youth through athletic team competition, skill building workshops, and self-esteem clinics.

MILLIONAIRE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM (MAP) - Since kids often have innovative ideas about business and making money, this program as designed to expose the hidden talents of youngsters interested in starting their own business.

CONFLICT RESOLUTION - Designed to assist youth deal with problems in healthy/constructive ways. Topics in this series include avoiding gang recruitment, violence, family dysfunction through role-playing and one-to-one mentoring.

A NIGHT IN WHITE - A celebration of the seasons accomplishments along with those who sponsored the Millionaires and their programs.

MILLIONAIRES FUN DAY - "Fun Day" is for students in the Sarasota County area who have succeeded in their academics and behavior in the classroom and beyond.  SSFL Record Holder # 1 Brandon Johnson

Brandon Johnson was a great pick up for the Millionaires this past 2009 season. Overall he had 17 interceptions, two returned for touchdowns, two blocked field goals, one blocked punt, and one fumble return for a game winning touchdown. Johnson was also pretty affective on the offensive side of the ball as well. With four receiving touchdowns, and one key catch to beat the St Pete Sharks in a close game late in the fourth quarter. Brandon Johnson is a 20yr old native of Sarasota who has played football for Sarasota High School before playing with the Millionaires. He is looking forward to moving on to play college ball while using the Millionaires as a stepping stone to get there.  "We will do everything in our power to help Brandon get to the next level. He is a very talented young man with great character who has all the potential of making it to the next level" said Owner Calvin Williams.
